Membership in the Catholic Association of Teachers of Homiletics (CATH) is open to:

• Teachers of preaching and related fields in seminaries, graduate schools, and diocesan formation programs
• Persons designated as Preaching “Coaches” in continuing education programs
• Doctoral Students in preaching or related fields 
• Others on a case-by-case basis

Benefits of CATH Membership

Most of us who teach Homiletics are “Lone Rangers” in the programs and seminaries in which we minister. Over the years, CATH has provided me with a community of professionals in which to network and consult, whether it has been at our face-to-face meetings or on-line. In addition, CATH has been a source of mutual personal support with Christian ministers who share a passion for teaching and preaching the Good News.
